Appetizer and Dessert Party

Thank you Gail and Ron for opening your house to the HEB Tennis Club last Saturday. Everyone was asked to bring an appetizer or a dessert to share with others at the party. We had everything from meatballs to chocolate pie, and much, much more. The beer and wine flowed...and everyone had a great time. Thank you Gail and Ron (who stopped for a moment, so I could take his photo.)

These Early Morning Matches!

Long time tennis player Violet V. and Rookie (to USTA) Janice A. played as a doubles team last week - and won! These 8:00 AM matches in the Rockies can be tough sometimes. Note the gloves in Violet's hands!

Food and Fun

A Pampered Chef representative (Lynn Shafer) demonstrates how to make a Chicken and Broccoli Braid for the HEB tennis ladies (seen in the background), friends and family of the host, Liz. It was a pleasant evening to chat about tennis, family and community matters, to drink a glass of wine, and enjoy the delicious Chicken and Broccoli Braid.

Goodbye to our Co-President

Nancy - we will miss you. You have been such a pleasure to know, always upbeat, happy and positive as the Co-President of the women's tennis at HEB. We wish you well, we wish you happiness, and most of all...we wish you everything you deserve in life.

Determined to Play!

Never let it be said the ladies of HEB tennis are wimps! Here are three of our players who turned out for a match at the Railbender Tennis courts located in Parker soon after a snowfall. Temperature was hovering around 40 degrees, but they still played.
